ในวันที่ 23 มกราคม 2019 ศิลปินและเหล่าคนบันเทิงต่างมารวมตัวกันในงานประกาศรางวัลประจำปี Gaon Chart Music Awards ครั้งที่ 8

งานนี้จัดขึ้นที่จามชิลอารีน่าในกรุงโซล และพิธีกรของงานคือคิมจงกุกและแนนซี่ MOMOLAND ซึ่งงานนี้ไม่เหมือนงานอื่นๆเนื่องจากไม่มีรางวัลแดซัง (รางวัลใหญ่สุด)
